A pharmaceutical therapy recommender system enabling shared decision-making

Abstract Data-based clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) can provide personalized in medical applications. Such are expected to play an increasingly important role the future of healthcare. Within this work, we demonstrate exemplary CDSS which provides individualized pharmaceutical drug recommendations physicians and patients. The core proposed system is a neighborhood-based collaborative filter (CF) that yields data-based recommendations. CFs capable integrating data at different scale levels multivariate outcome measure. This publication detailed literature review, holistic comparison various implementations CF algorithms, prototypical graphical user interface (GUI).
